I modeled your data as below and used the "star points" as the slicers. But the measure above will count the days in the amounts regardless of whether or not your visual has a day in it. The measure was:Īverage/AverageX may not work if you don't have the granularity in the measure you want, so if you are averaging days, but the visual you have has no days in it, the measure will not work. It works no matter how you slice the data too.
So the $335 should be correct, as your sample data had 2 days in it, and $670/2=335. Days go in the date table so I removed them from there. Was it a measure, a calculated column, etc. That said I couldn't tell what your thing was referring to in your data. Your data doesn't have a date table for example, but after fooling with it, not sure it matters, but I never build a model without a date table. I'm 99.9% sure you do not need a more advanced function like SUMMARIZE to get this, unless I am grossly misunderstanding your request. Hi am not sure mine is "simpler" but I modeled your data into a Star Schema so it was easier for me to track through it.
